Spectra Aerospace & Defense Appoints Cory Grosklags as New Chief Commercial Officer

Grosklags will oversee all commercial functions with a focus on providing an exemplary customer experience and technologically superior products across all divisions.
ALPHARETTA, GA – February 4, 2025 – Spectra Aerospace & Defense today announced Cory Grosklags as the company’s new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
“I am very pleased to announce the promotion of Cory as our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO),” said Ray Munoz, CEO of Spectra Aerospace & Defense. “He has a deep background in commercial, aerospace and defense sectors and will be a key player as we look to strengthen our global market position across our business units.”

With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Grosklags previously served as the President of Spectra’s Galleon Embedded Computing in the US. In his new role, he will also be instrumental in helping grow the other two business units — ArgonFDS and CALCULEX.
“I look forward to assuming responsibility for all sales and marketing efforts, as well as our strategic growth initiatives,” Grosklags said. “I’m eager to learn more about ArgonFDS and CALCULEX to help drive their financial performance along with that of Galleon.”
Munoz said Grosklags is an ideal fit for the newly created CCO position.
“Cory’s strategic vision and extensive knowledge of our markets, customers, and products will empower him to execute the Company’s profitable growth strategy and drive continued success,” Munoz said. “As we continue to integrate the business units under the Spectra banner, Cory’s familiarity with the company is a big plus in maximizing efficiencies across the board.”
Prior to joining Galleon Embedded Computing, Grosklags served as the Product Marketing Manager for Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions and the Director of Systems Engineering at VMETRO.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Clemson University.
