ArgonFDS Rugged Computing Solutions
ArgonFDS, a proud member of the Spectra Aerospace & Defense family of companies, offers a rich line of computing solutions that provide the lowest in Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) in the industry. These computing solutions can be used as servers or for mission computers, vehicle status, situational awareness, or just about any application where a compact yet powerful computer is required.
We offer the following solutions which are completely customizable to specific applications:
- Dismounted Soldier and up to UxV Application Computing “Bricks”
- Integration of the Rugged Display Monitor and Computer
- Rugged Tablets with 5” to 12” LCDs
- Rugged Laptops or Workstations
- Rugged Rack Mount Computers
Most of our Rugged Displays – in sizes ranging from 5” to 43” – are also available with an integrated computer. Smaller units are considered Tablets, whereas the larger sizes are integrated Displays/Computers, which have the benefit of reducing the solution to one LRU from two and full interoperability between the Rugged Display and Computer.
Our Custom, Rugged Laptops/Workstations precisely meet the need for a portable unit, housing the computer, display, keyboard, and other custom functions, as required. ArgonFDS provides these units in 15″, 17″ and 20″ display versions. These rugged laptops can be configured with a wide range of I/O including network connections, removable storage, hot-swappable batteries, RS-232/422/485 serial comms, touch screens, DVD, customized keyboards, and other options.
