His career has been defined by building strong customer relationships and delivering mission-based solutions across the defense sector.
His experience at Rheinmetall Nordic AS, where he served as Vice President of Programs, provided him with deep insights into large-scale development programs for sensor and observation systems, reconnaissance and fire-control systems. This experience has been invaluable at Galleon, where he plays a crucial role in driving innovation in open architecture and certification-ready electronics systems.
Prior to Rheinmetall, Erlend’s career included significant service with the Land Systems division at the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency, where he oversaw the procurement of defense systems for the Norwegian Armed Forces, merging strategic insight with operational knowledge to meet critical military requirements.
Erlend holds degrees from the BI Norwegian School of Management and the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, establishing a strong foundation in systems engineering principles that informs his technology-centered approach to business growth.
